About the Author

Every page we read in a book encourages curiosity, creativity, and the development of oral language in our children.

I am a psychologist by profession and an educator by vocation and by heart.

When my children, Andrea and José Enrique, were little, I wanted to give them every opportunity to learn, and one thing we always did in our home was read books every night before going to sleep. I believe those minutes spent reading to our children are magical because they transport them to worlds they visit with their imagination, creating pieces of knowledge that they interconnect over and over again. As we read, we create unique experiences for them. I understand that stories need to be engaging for our young readers. My stories aim to spark imagination and foster a love for reading in both languages: English and Spanish. We believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and create positive change in the world.
